On Friday Sept. 10 the French Cruise Ship "LeLevant" entered Green Bay and docked at K&K Warehouse (just up-river from the Walnut Street Bridge). The ship was on a Great Lakes cruise and was scheduled to go to Manitowoc, WI that day. However, the captain learned that Manitowoc lacked the newly instituted federally approved security plan, so the LeLevant had to find somewhere else to dock. Fortunately, K&K Warehouse in Green Bay received Coast Guard approval to allow the vessel to dock there. The passengers were bussed to Manitowoc for the day, and the ship left Friday night for Chicago.
