The Edward L. Ryerson is shown here making the turn into the Rock Cut in the Lower St. Mary's River on June 29, 2007; this is the last operating American "straight-decker" (no self-unloading gear). Its career was resurrected in 2006 after being laid-up in Sturgeon Bay, WI since 1998. Welcome back old friend!!! - See the Edward L Ryerson page for more on this beautiful ship.
