More Wind Towers Arrive At KK Integrated Logistics On Nov. 16

The Great Lakes Towing (GLT) tug, Ohio, arrived in Menominee with the barge, CBC-1268, loaded with more wind turbine tower sections Tuesday morning. The Selvick tug, William C. Selvick, was on hand to assist the tow into port. After passing through the Ogden Street (Menekaunee) Bridge, the tow headed up the Menominee River past KK Integrated Logistics to the turning basin. After turning around, the tow headed back down-river to the KK Integrated Logistics East Dock. After assisting the barge into the dock, the William C. Selvick departed as the Ohio maneuvered the barge the rest of the way along the dock to its mooring place. This barge is carrying 22 wind turbine tower sections from an eastern lower Great Lakes port, similar to the one brought in last week by the John M. Selvick/Lake Trader..
